KS2 Teacher – Preston – Full Time

In this role, you will:

• Take full responsibility for a KS2 class, delivering engaging and high‑quality teaching
• Be actively involved in planning, preparation and assessment
• Work closely with and support the full‑time TA within your classroom
• Adapt teaching to meet the needs of EAL learners and pupils with SEN
• Create a positive, inclusive and well‑managed classroom environment
• Build strong relationships with pupils, colleagues and families
• Contribute to the wider life of this supportive and forward‑thinking school

Requirements

To be considered, you must have:

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Recent experience teaching in a KS2 classroom
• Confidence supporting pupils with EAL and SEN
• Strong classroom management and a proactive, flexible approach
• The ability to take on the full responsibilities of a class teacher
• A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and progress
